Opera, by nature, embraces many elements - theatre and performance, music and composition, dramatic writing - and it has a history of over 400 years!  ENO therefore aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the whole picture of opera - from primary school right through to higher education.

This section of the site outlines our work with schools, including our Enjoy Opera discounted tickets and workshop scheme.  Discover how to join our Catalyst forum for teachers, artists and youth workers.  Find out about the people involved in the ENO Evolve scheme which offers students of the Royal College of Music the opportunity to play alongside ENO Orchestra members in rehearsals.  And finally, immerse yourself in the worldful world of opera via our online Knowledge Bank - a rich media resource containing audio, video, images and a glossary.
