ENO is committed to nurturing talent. ENO Opera Works is a unique training opportunity for singers who have excellent vocal technique, professional potential and a strong commitment to developing a career in opera, whatever their background or previous experience.
The programme encompasses individual coaching sessions and tailored group workshops enabling singers to develop their vocal and dramatic skills in a professional environment, with unprecedented access to the wealth of expertise at ENO, insight into the world of professional opera, and valuable opportunities for dialogue with key people within the Company. Participants are offered exclusive opportunities to engage with the work of ENO, including access to ENO productions and involvement in the innovative learning and participation work of ENO Baylis.
Follow this year's course by reading our ENO Opera Works blog.
Although the course demands a high level of vocal ability, ENO Opera Works does not require formal qualifications – vocal talent, commitment and potential for progression and development are the main criteria for acceptance onto the course. We encourage anyone of the appropriate level to apply.
