ENO presents the London premiere of Damon Albarn’s Dr Dee, first staged July2011 at Manchester International Festival. This visionary new work which The Observer called “A thoroughly beguiling spectacle, suffused with a gloriously richtonal score” and Opera magazine dubbed an “undeniably heartfelt hymn to Albion,celebrating the cultural richness of these isles from Gloriana to Cool Britannia” runsfor eight performances from 25 June, 2012 as part of the London 2012 Festival.
