ENO starts a new series of free events to engage new audiences
ENO’s learning and participation programme is committed to developing audiences and a new programme for the Autumn starts today with the launch of a series of events at the newly opened Apple Store Covent Garden. The first event to take place in Apple’s largest store in the world, ENO introduces its new app, Sing ENO, with ENO Chorus soprano Ella Kirkpatrick and emerging young bass-baritone Benjamin Cahn who give a singing workshop providing insight in to the life and world of an opera singer. Sing ENO offers a complete set of warm-up exercises to prepare the body, voice and mind for singing and also offers a complete ‘Do It Yourself’ (DIY) section, including piano accompaniments for all the exercises, as well as ‘record yourself’ and ‘email to a friend’ functions. Whether a beginner or a more accomplished singer, anyone can use this application to prepare to sing.
