Jonathan Miller’s La bohème returns for its first revival

Date published: Wed 29 Sep 2010

Jonathan Miller’s 2009 staging of Puccini’s powerful and enduring masterpiece, La Bohème, returns this October. Miller’s association with ENO stretches back 30 years; this long and fruitful partnership has produced some of his and the Company’s most successful productions including The Mikado - which returns to the ENO stage in February to celebrate the production’s 25th Anniversary year - and Rigoletto. Following his Company debut in 2009 Stephen Lord returns to direct a cast including Elizabeth Llewellyn making her stage debut as Mimì, and Gwyn Hughes Jones and Alfie Boe share the role of Rodolfo.
