Neal Davies has had to withdraw from the role of Captain in The Death of Klinghoffer owing to illness. The role will be sung by Christopher Magiera.
This will be the ENO debut of Magiera, who sang the same role in a production for the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis where The New York Times said, ‘among a uniformly outstanding cast, Christopher Magiera, a handsome baritone, stands out as a warm, brave and sympathetic Captain.’
