The Big Barber Bash
Step back in time and place and be transported to 17th century Seville - ENO style. Interactive activities for the whole family will fill the London Coliseum. Go behind the scenes at one of the world’s most innovative opera companies and learn about the myriad aspects of putting together internationally acclaimed productions. Children will enjoy the chance to try on costumes, learn to swordfight, join in on a drum circle, participate in a prop-making workshop and much more. There will be food, drinks, back- stage tours, singing, a raffle and merriment across all spaces of the London Coliseum as the Big Barber Bash celebrates The Barber of Seville at ENO!
The Big Barber Bash at ENO is proudly hosted by The American Friends of ENO. Proceeds from the Big Bash will help to support ENO Opera Squad, a pioneering programme taking the ENO orchestra and singers directly to children in state schools across London. Each year ENO Opera Squad engages with up to 4,000 children in their school halls and at the London Coliseum, many of whom have never before experienced the power and excitement of live opera.

Drum Circle
