SMS Lottery Terms and Conditions

Text a £5 Donation to ENO for the chance to win a Terry Gilliam signed programme

This lottery has now closed. 

 

Terms & Conditions:

1)  The lottery is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, excluding employees and their immediate families of English National Opera, its agents and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.

2) The lottery is being promoted by and on behalf of English National Opera (ENO), London Coliseum, St. Martin's Lane, London. WC2N 4ES.

3) For the purpose of the Gambling act 2005 the lottery is defined as a non-commercial society lottery.

4) This lottery is licensed by the City of Westminster under the 2005 Gambling Act.

5) The contact person at ENO is SMS Lottery Manager, Development Department.

6) The promotional period starts on 5 June 2011 and closes 16 June 2011.

7) To enter, simply text OPERA5 to 70700 and your entry will be made. Your mobile phone number is your lottery ticket number; multiple entries are recognised.  Text costs £5 + standard network charge. ENO will receive a least £4.45, network dependent.

8) Text entries that are received after the competition closing date will not be counted but will incur the cost of a standard network rate text and may still incur £5 donation.

9) Text entries that are incomplete or contain an incorrect keyword will be deemed invalid and will not count as an entry, but may still be liable for entry costs (plus standard network costs).

10) ENO does not accept any liability for any entries which are a result of any technical malfunction whether through a website failure, lack of network service, service provider failure, virus or other technical malfunction for any entries which are lost, misdirected, delayed or corrupted. ENO does not accept any liability for any malfunction which means that entrants are unable to cancel their donation nor for any loss arising from entry to this competition.

11) The prize consists of one of five programmes for The Damnation of Faust, signed by Terry Gilliam.

12) There are no cash alternatives to the prize.

13) The winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision within 24 hours of the closing date and notified by telephone call.

14) By entering this competition, all entrants accept the terms and conditions

15) The winners’ names and counties will be available upon request by writing to: SMS Lottery, Development Department, English National Opera, London Coliseum, St. Martin's Lane, London. WC2N 4ES

16) Personal data will be taken where necessary from all entries received but shall be limited to those details reasonably necessary for the administration of the competition.

17) The promoter is  English National Opera  and the draw is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the Courts of England and Wales shall have sole jurisdiction over any dispute.
