Funding Sources
English National Opera receives important core funding from Arts Council England and the City of Westminster. We are grateful to both organisations for their ongoing support. We aim for accessible pricing for all of our performances, but box office income remains important, contributing around a third of our annual income. The remainder must be supplied through the generosity of individual donors, trusts and corporations. It is these donations that allow us to experiment and innovate, ensuring that opera remains fresh and inspiring for today’s audiences.
