Individuals provide crucial funding for ENO’s many activities, ranging from specific productions to ENO Young Singers. It is our goal to strengthen our connection with our individual supporters and to involve you more with what you love about ENO.

Individuals may join a membership programme or make a donation of any amount to support the general work of ENO, or join one of our many schemes and groups to support a more specific area of the company’s work. A group of our most loyal and generous supporters, patrons of the Opera Circle enjoy exclusive access to the heart of the Company with opportunities to meet artistic teams, see work in progress and gain unique insight.

ENO’s membership programme and social network of young professionals (under the age of 40) who have an interest in opera and want to hear more.

Our 501 (c) 3 registered charity for supporters who would like to make their gift tax effective for US tax purposes and be involved with our American group of supporters.

Support a specific area of our work

Young Singers Programme (from £1,000)

Patrons directly support the training and coaching of young artists

Women in Opera (from £3,000)

A group for women working in opera, women who love opera and women who want to learn more about opera.

English Opera Group (from £5,000 a year for three years)

ENO is committed to English-language opera and the work of British composers. Patrons provide financial support for this initiative with multi-year commitments

Production Syndicates (from £5,000)

Formed to provide specific support for a new production that requires the generosity of enlightened individuals.

Music Director’s Circle (from £10,000 a year for three years)

A small group of supporters who invest in this pivotal role and support the Music Director, Edward Gardner in his ongoing work at ENO.

Contemporary Opera Group (from £5,000 to £20,000 a year for three years)

A group of adventurous and visionary donors who provide funding for innovative projects and who are closely involved in the creation of new commissions and contemporary opera.
