The Wagner Production Syndicate

ENO has a strong tradition of presenting productions of Wagner’s operas.  Since Reginald Goodall’s Ring in the 1970’s the Company has gone on to present most of Wagner’s repertoire to great acclaim.  A syndicate of individual supporters is being created to support 3 future productions.

ENO is seeking enlightened individuals who wish to support these three operas over a three year period with donations of at least £5,000.  Syndicate members will play a crucial part in our ability to mount these productions and will have the opportunity to become involved with them.

How Your Money Helps

Even with healthy ticket sales, the expense of running a full-time repertory opera company cannot be covered by ticket sales and public funding alone. Learn more about how your donations help us to cover the cost of producing opera.

Opera is an expensive business. Arts Council support accounts for half of our funding. Every £1 from public sources is matched by income generated by ENO.
