Women in Opera will bring a series of events across the year to give you insight into the workings of a successful opera company, including access to ENO’s work. For example, possible events for the future will involve female members of our creative teams (directors, designers, singers and musicians) talking about their work, tours of some of our hidden treasures backstage (wigs/makeup, costume, technical) for you and your friends, and discussion events with our chief executive, Loretta Tomasi and senior females from across the arts. These events will also allow you to share experiences and contacts with peers.

You can be part of Women in Opera and make a real contribution to ENO’s work for a donation of £3,000 each year.

In its first year Women in Opera support ENO’s new production of Tosca, directed by Catherine Malfitano which opened on 18 May. In subsequent years Women in Opera members will choose which production or area of ENO’s work to support.

Through Women in Opera we aim to create a stimulating and creative environment for members to meet each other and to have fun.
