Support from Trusts, Foundations, and local authorities is invaluable to our ongoing work both on the stage and behind the scenes. In recent years, grant-makers have made important contributions that have helped us to innovate with new programmes and initiatives, sustain the high quality of our work, and engage new audiences for opera.
Amongst the projects that have received generous trust grants are ENO Opera Works, (supported by a group of donors), our productions of Duke Bluebeard’s Castle and The Rite of Spring, (see our case study on ENO’s relationship with the Foyle Foundation) and this website, which was designed and created with the help of an anonymous donor. We also have a long running partnership with the Westminster City Council, which provides funding to help us bring opera to the communities in which we work.
Great art has never been easy or inexpensive to create and present. Our trust and foundation supporters make important contributions across the full range of ENO’s work. We are immensely grateful for all that they help us to achieve.
Our case studies show how trust and foundation grant makers have made important contributions across ENO’s work.
