Support the work of ENO Baylis, our Learning and Participation Programme Inspired by the Company’s founder, Lilian Baylis, the ENO Baylis programme reaches some 11,000 people of all ages annually through subsidised ticket schemes, Family Events, Talks and Study Days, long and short-term in-school programmes, and outreach projects organised in conjunction with local councils, youth clubs, and other community groups. ENO Baylis was created over twenty years ago to extend ENO’s reach into schools and the greater community. Its philosophy places emphasis on creativity, access, and participation for people of all ages and levels of experience with an interest in opera, and related art forms: music, singing, song-writing, theatre, dance, movement, and design. Projects vary widely in scale, with many tailored specifically to the needs of those taking part, however the work has three core principles:
