English National Opera are proud to have the London Coliseum as their home.
Built in 1904 by two of this country's great movers and shakers of the theatre world: Oswald Stoll, of Stoll Moss fame, and the celebrated theatre architect, Frank Matcham, the London Coliseum is not only the biggest theatre in London but also the most spectacular.
Following its refurbishment in 2004 to mark the theatre's centenary, the London Coliseum has once again taken it's place as the jewel in the West End's crown.
We are able to offer Guided Tours of the London Coliseum to your Group or Society at a time to suit you, and around any rehearsals which might be taking place in the building
All we ask is that there are approximately 10 or more in your party.
The Guided Tour takes in most areas of the theatre. As a repertory theatre, it occasionally becomes impossible to visit backstage. We will, of course, try to arrange your visit so that this is not the case.
Each tour usually takes no more than one and a half hours.
The Guided tours are priced at £5 per person.
