Chorus Director

Contract Type: Seasonal

Reports To: Head of Music and Director of the Music Department

Salary: Dependant on experience

ENO’s Chorus is an integral part of the performing company, contributing to performances with choral involvement, with Choristers performing and covering major and minor solo roles.

As a member of the Music Department, the Chorus Director reports to the Director of the Music Department (DirMD) and Head of Music (HOM) and is responsible for preparing the Chorus musically on scheduled operas and supervising them through the rehearsal period to ensure the highest standards of artistic excellence.

As the Chorus Director, your key accountabilities include:

• Musical Preparation & Performance
• Management & Administration of Chorus
• Chorus Allocation
• Auditions and Staffing
• General Duties
