Digital Content Creator

Reporting to the Head of Digital Communications, the Digital Content Editor will be responsible for both shooting and editing video footage and photography for use on ENO’s digital channels, and for supporting on longer form content, podcast production and other digital projects. They will play a key role in increasing online engagement, broadening ENO audiences and raising awareness of ENO through the creation of fun and entertaining content in line with the ENO brand and tone of voice.

Responsibilities

  • Self-shoot, edit and deliver short-form video content for social media.
  • Capturing behind the scenes and rehearsal photography.
  • Creating graphics and other digital assets for online use.
  • Sound recording and basic sound editing.
  • Supporting the Head of Digital Communications in developing content ideas and storyboards and in shaping and implementing the digital strategy.
  • Work with the marketing and design team to maintain brand consistency across all digital content.
  • The organisation and maintenance of camera inventory and equipment.
  • Maintenance of the ENO digital archive.

Person specification

Essential

  • An in depth knowledge of video editing, basic sound design and sound mixing skills.
  • Experience with DSLR cameras, lighting and sound equipment.
  • Proficiency in Abobe suite (Photoshop, After Effects & Premiere Pro).
  • A solid understanding of digital content creation for different platforms.
  • 2+ years’ experience and a portfolio of existing video work.

Desirable

  • A degree in media production or related field, or professional training in filmmaking/content creation.
  • Experience in undertaking and editing video/audio interviews.
  • Experience of podcast production a plus.
  • A passion for storytelling and an interest in the arts.
