The ENO is the most diverse of all UK opera companies because we are committed to proactively promoting diversity and inclusivity across our orchestra, chorus, staff and audiences. Our Orchestra Fellowships are one way in which we address the current inequality of opportunity in the industry, and we are seeking a talented Black, Asian or Ethnically Diverse double bass player to join the ENO Orchestra on a Fixed Term contract.
As a String Fellow, you will have the opportunity to perform with a world-renowned orchestra in high-profile events and recordings, and inspire future generations of classical musicians.

- Play and provide your own instrument.
- Perform at the appropriate level of proficiency required by a professional orchestra.
- Have some knowledge of operatic repertoire.

Successful candidates will be asked to attend in person auditions on Monday 15th May. Following this, trials will be held from the 20th – 22nd June.
