ENO Orchestra Fellowship for BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) String Players

We are looking for 5 string fellows to join the ENO orchestra in the following positions on a 12 month fixed term contract:

  • Violin 1
  • Violin 2
  • Viola
  • Cello
  • Double Bass

The successful candidates will:

  • Play and provide their instrument
  • Be an experienced musician
  • Have a sound knowledge of the operatic repertoire
  • Have a calm, confident and professional manner

In a typical week, the orchestra works up to 8 sessions on varying operatic repertoire, and at times other classical repertoire.
