Grants Manager

We are excited to be recruiting for a new Grants Manager at the English National Opera.

The Grants Manager will secure income from a wide-range of grant-making organisations in the UK and internationally.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Reports to: Head of Grants

Place of Work: London Coliseum

Salary: £33,000 per annum

Using a wide variety of research tools, the Grants Manager will research and identify appropriate charitable grant- making organisations within the UK and internationally for ENO productions, programmes and projects across multiple years.

They will be the first point of contact for enquires to the Grants Team. They will research and identify appropriate statutory funding opportunities for ENO projects. They will:

  • Prepare and write funding applications, creating compelling cases for support.
  • Personally take responsibility for a portfolio of grant-makers, applying for grants to support appropriate projects.
  • Record important correspondence with Grant-makers using our fundraising CRM.

Other duties include:

  • Supporting the stewardship of current funders with outstanding customer service, including attending events.
  • Ensuring all Grants payments are promptly and accurately processed in our CRM system, and to send the appropriate thank you letter/receipt.
  • Maintaining accurate records for current and prospective grant-makers on the CRM systems, including grant agreements, proposals, financial documents and event guest lists.

They will also undertake any other related duties at the request of the Head of Grants, when required.
