Place of Work: London Coliseum, Unit 6 Burrell st, and other ENO designated sites.

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Reporting to the Associate Artistic Director, the Head of Costume is a senior manager within the technical and production department, responsible and accountable for strategic, operational and financial management of the costume department. The department consists of production Costume and Running Wardrobe, wigs and make-up.

These departments facilitate all contracted costume (making), wigs and make-up requirements within our productions, and in addition manage and co-ordinating the show running staff in on a day to day basis. The position will work closely with the costume designer, director and other relevant ENO departments.

The Head of Costume will provide positive leadership for the departments, and have proven excellence in personnel management, strategic management, financial planning and control. It is essential that they have a positive and professional attitude, with the ability to work efficiently and to the highest standards in a busy repertory environment. They will be accountable and responsible for achieving the demands of ENOs repertory planning by effectively utilising the resources available and ensuring high standards are maintained.
