London-based Japanese violinist Naori Takahashi actively works in the orchestral and chamber music scene and holds a Distinction in Master of Arts, DipRAM and a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Music, both from the Royal Academy of Music as a recipient of the Leverhulme Trust Scholarship.

She is currently leader of the Sinfonia Perdita and participant in the Glyndebourne Opera Pit Perfect Scheme and previously the Foyle Future First of the London Philharmonic Orchestra in 19-20.

Naori is the recipient of a number of awards including the Regency Award from the Royal Academy of Music as well as the Gold Prize and the British Music Society Award at the New Talent British International Youth Music Competition.

She has also been invited to participate in masterclasses with renowned musicians including Guillaume Sutre at the Tianjin Juilliard School, Lihay Bendayan, Henning Kraggerud, Simon James and Tasmin Little.
