Classic FM has released research revealing that people are intimidated by opera because a third of the nation thinks it’s too expensive and a quarter believe it’s too highbrow. We disagree! In response to this the UK’s biggest classical music brand is partnering with English National Opera to offer opera newcomers the chance to win one of fifty pairs of tickets to an exclusive Opera Undressed event at Rossini’s The Barber of Seville on Wednesday 25 October 2017 at the London Coliseum.
Courtesy of Classic FM, these Opera Undressed tickets give you the opportunity to experience your first opera for free. As part of Opera Undressed, you will get:
- a pre-performance talk about the production
- a complimentary glass of wine in the interval
- a discount for future ENO performances
To be in with a chance to win, simply click the button below to create an ENO account and sign up for a free Opera Undressed membership before the 23 October.
If you’ve already seen an opera at ENO or previously attended an Undressed event, you are not eligible to enter. Winners will be selected randomly by English National Opera and will be notified by email and a phonecall on 23 October. If you’re not successful on this occasion, ENO has a whole host of affordable ticket options with 500 tickets at £20 or less available for every single ENO performance.
