Support The Merry Widow

ENO is joining Max Webster, Associate Director of the Old Vic, to a stage a glamourous and glittering production of Franz Léhar’s The Merry Widow, set in turn-of-the-century Paris.

Join Us

You are invited to become closely involved in the creative journey of our new production of The Merry Widow by joining its syndicate. Donations of all sizes are welcome and greatly appreciated, as they enable our teams to realise their creative vision and bring this production to life.

There is a variety of involvement available at all donation levels and every level offers an exciting and bespoke degree of access to the production, tailored to your particular interests. For example, you could visit early production rehearsals or attend the Stage and Orchestra rehearsal on Thursday 21 February.

To discuss supporting The Merry Widow, and to find out more, please contact Katherine Sayer on 020 7845 9430 or [email protected]

An example of donation levels

£1,000

Those who support at this level are welcomed to the production syndicate and are invited to join us for stage rehearsals and to see the production’s model box. You’ll also meet the cast, chorus, orchestra and creative teams at the opening night reception and post-show party.

£5,000

We honour gifts of this level by welcoming you to see the production take shape from its early stages. Alongside those opportunities above, you’ll be introduced to key cast members at various events, including the “First Look” at the production. You’ll also be invited to early production rehearsals and hear from the creative team, the cast and the chorus and the orchestra as they embark on the production.

£10,000 +

Particularly significant gifts give you the chance to fully immerse yourself in the production. Alongside those opportunities above, this includes attending early production meetings, “First Look” events and model showings, a range of rehearsals from music calls, to early production run-throughs. We also welcome those who support at this level to shadow and get to know principals and members of the creative and design teams, with your support being acknowledged as role sponsorship of, for example, a singer of your choice.
