Name a seat for yourself, as a gift or to commemorate a loved one.
The iconic London Coliseum is one of the most beautiful theatres in the world. It is also the largest in London’s West End. Over 200 of the Coliseum’s 2,359 seats were ‘named’ in acknowledgement of generous support both at the time of the major restoration project of 2000-2004 and since. We warmly invite you to Take Your Seat and support ENO’s work whilst having your contribution acknowledged on your favourite seat in the house – be it in the stalls, dress circle or upper circle.
“My late husband and I had watched so many memorable ENO performances together over the years. A seat plaque offered the perfect way of reflecting that, and of supporting the work of ENO at the same time.” Liz Grimsey
You may wish for your plaque to be given as a gift or to commemorate a loved one. Donations for a plaque on a seat range from £1,000 to £5,000 and support our award-winning work and help to maintain our beautiful Edwardian home.
- give £5,000 to name a seat in the stalls
- give £2,500 to name a seat in the dress circle
- give £1,000 to name a seat in the upper circle
Once installed plaques remain for the duration of the seat – in the event that the seats are replaced, plaques will not be transferred to the new seat.
