Since joining ENO as artistic director in 2020, Annilese has led us through unprecedented times, and two operatic seasons unlike any in our past.
In fact, she has been so busy that she hasn’t been able to take a moment to meet you, our valued ENO Supporters and Members!
Fresh from her directorial debut of The Handmaid’s Tale, Annilese will talk us through her journey to ENO, the joys and pains of the last two years, and her hopes for ENO’s future.
The evening is hosted by Sally Osman. As well as being an ENO Board member, Sally is an award-winning magazine publisher, previously Director of Communications at the BBC and Director, Royal Communications with The Royal Household, and has been investitured with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Ivy Club opened, spanning three floors, sits above the world famous The Ivy restaurant. The Club is shrouded in history of famous faces who have adorned this iconic club, with membership drawn primarily from creative industries and the arts.
Designed by Martin Brudnizki, the Club is a fresh and imaginative Art Deco oasis. The entrance is discreetly concealed within a flower shop on West Street.
The Loft is located at the top of the historic venue. Featuring the iconic harlequin windows, The Loft at The Ivy Club is effortlessly eloquent, right in the heart of the West End.
