Support ENO Harewood Artists
Support opera’s rising stars
At ENO we are committed to nurturing talent. Our Harewood Artists programme enables exceptionally talented British and British-trained singers to perform with a major opera company while receiving specialist coaching, support and guidance for 2-3 years.
2018 marks 20 years since we launched the ENO Singer Training scheme. We are proud to have helped develop and nurture 60 singers including: Sophie and Mary Bevan, Allan Clayton, Elizabeth Llewellyn, Leigh Melrose, Iain Paterson, Sarah Tynan and Elizabeth Watts. This season’s Harewood Artists will take on 15 leading roles at the London Coliseum, from Musetta in La bohème to Nefertiti in Akhnaten.
The programme costs over £200,000 a year to deliver and is funded entirely through individual donations. Our recent Match Campaign raised over £190,000 but we welcome additional gifts to support our ENO Harewood Artists singer training scheme.
