Giacomo Puccini

La bohème

Join us for a magical evening of live opera as the sun goes down at South Facing Festival in Crystal Palace Park.

21 Aug 2022

One of opera’s most popular and unforgettable stories, Puccini’s La bohème is an exceptional musical and theatrical treat.

Puccini’s moving score follows Mimì and Rodolfo’s love unfolding from its joyful beginnings to ultimate heartbreak, and features popular opera songs like Musetta’s Waltz.

This concert performance of La bohème is part of the South Facing Festival, in Crystal Palace Park this summer. Drawing on the rich musical heritage of an iconic South London venue, it features headline gigs from London Grammar, Jungle, Bombay Bicycle Club, Richard Ashcroft, Kamasi Washington, Becky Hill and ENO, with more to be announced.

Large screens will also relay the performance and microphones will be used for high quality sound. The large grass area in front of the stage will form the open-air picnic-style seating area with plenty of space for you to make yourself comfortable on the ground.

Join us for a magical evening of live opera as the sun goes down in the beautiful surrounds of Crystal Palace Park.

Book your opera tickets today to experience Puccini’s opera of love, life and loss live in this unique outdoor opera experience to see La bohème like you’ve never seen it before.
