War Requiem: Thu 22 November, 17.45 (SOLD OUT)
Britten provocatively juxtaposes the anti-war poetry of Wilfred Owen and the timeless ritual of the Latin Requiem Mass.
Hosted by journalist Alexandra Coghlan, with ENO Music Director Martyn Brabbins, Dr Milena Michalski, artist and scholar from the War Studies department of King’s College London, and Staff Director Elaine Tyler-Hall.

With a truly glamourous setting, Lehar’s operetta centres on the relationship between the wealthy young widow Hanna and Danilo, the debonair Secretary of the Pontevedrin Embassy.
