Alaric is a current Harewood Artist starting in the 25/26 season. In 2011 when he was 17, Alaric Green was the youngest ever person accepted to the London School of Musical Theatre.

He was cast in the BBC Three musical reality TV show South Side Story. In 2016 he appeared on The Voice UK, moving through to the third televised knock out round.

He discovered a love for carpentry and worked in various theatres across the West End whilst also pursuing a musical career with his alternative rock band, eventually deciding to explore his classical singing voice at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied with Robert Dean and Stephan Loges, generously supported by the Henry Oldfield Trust, the Countess of Munster Trust and the Biddy Baxter and John Hozier Trust. He completed his studies in 2024. 

During his time at Guildhall he performed the roles of George Benton – Dead Man Walking, Zosimo – Maria Egiziaca, Melisso – Alcina and Pedro Paramo – A Star Next to the Moon. 

At ENO he has covered and went on for the role of Alidoro – La Cenorentola, he also covered Pirate King – Pirates of Penzance & Figaro – Le Nozze Di Figaro. Also for ENO he performed the roles of Steward – Lady Macbeth of Mstensk at BBC Proms, Guard 1 – Dead Man Walking and Bob Becket – HMS Pinafore.   

Summer 2026 also saw him make is Opera Holland Park debut as Ashby – La Fanciulla Del West, and his return to Waterperry Opera Festival as Colline – La Boheme
