She also created the role of Lila in the world premiere of David Bruce’s The Firework Maker’s Daughter (co-commissioned by The Opera Group, Opera North and ROH); UK premiere of Roxanna Panufnik’s Faithful Journey (CBSO); Mary in Sally Beamish’s The Judas Passion (OAE); Bach’s Christmas Oratorio on tour in Australia (Choir of London/Australian Chamber Orchestra); Messiah (Academy of Ancient Music); Carnegie Hall debut as Dalinda Ariodante (The English Concert).
