Jake Moore is a highly experienced sound engineer and sound designer based in Suffolk, England, with over 18 years of experience working across live performance, concert, and operatic productions.
He began his career at the renowned Snape Maltings Concert Hall, where he worked on a wide range of projects including the Summer Proms season, orchestral concerts, and multiple operatic productions. This period provided a strong foundation in classical and theatrical sound, as well as a deep understanding of acoustic performance spaces and the technical demands of large-scale live productions.
Jake has since worked extensively with English National Opera (ENO), serving as both Sound Operator and Sound Supervisor on a variety of operas. His role has involved supporting complex productions, managing large-scale sound systems, and collaborating closely with creative and technical teams to deliver consistently high-quality audio for performers and audiences.
Alongside his work in theatre and opera, Jake maintains a strong presence in live music. From 2023 to 2025, he worked as House Monitor Engineer for Glastonbury Festival’s West Holts Stage, supporting a diverse international lineup in a technically demanding environment. Since 2022, he has also been a regular engineer at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the in-house sound team.
