The English National Opera offers something different – world-class, accessible opera, available to everyone. We’re looking for a talented Lighting Resources Coordinator to join the team.

With a packed and varied programme coming up at Coliseum, it’s an exciting time to join our skilled and ambitious Technical Department. As a member of our Lighting Team, you will support the efficient running of performances by managing the equipment of the lighting department, oversee a rigorous maintenance program, and to work closely with the Lighting Supervisors and Senior Technicians to advise and prepare available equipment for productions. You will also engage in the design, planning, and production of electrical props/installations for new productions and the preparation of existing Resources for revivals.

We’re looking for people who can oversee the maintenance of all lighting equipment, have a thorough understanding of all regulations regarding use of electrical equipment and maintenance records, and a strong working knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety legislation.

They will also have comprehensive technical expertise with both AC and DC electrical systems, and a familiarity with their applications in the entertainment industry.
