Senior Sound and Video Technician – Video Bias

Salary: £49,136.64

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Location: London Coliseum

 

We are seeking a Senior Sound and Video Technician (Video bias) to join our team at the London Coliseum.

The Senior Sound and Video Technician assists and supports the Sound & Video Supervisors to ensure that a full range of sound and video services, predominantly video editing, digital video projection, rigging, system design and Disguise programming is provided for all ENO productions, projects and departments, as well as visiting, hiring and broadcasting companies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to show initiative in the solving of technical problems
  • Experience of video programming using Disguise software and hardware
  • A proven track record in installing and maintaining projection systems
  • Experience in broadcast and/or live video capture and streaming events
  • A working knowledge of Mac-based Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro video-editing software
  • A good track record of video engineering, rigging and programming in the entertainment industry
  • Good interpersonal skills showing a positive, supportive and professional attitude towards colleagues, creative teams and artists, and the ability to behave diplomatically in a busy repertory environment
  • A willingness to undertake training, learn and develop both existing and new skills relevant to the post and to fully participate in an appraisal programme
  • The ability to prioritise the workload effectively and to take responsibility for the completion of delegated tasks
  • A proven record of commitment to realising the highest possible technical and creative standards through effective teamwork
  • Excellent IT and networking skills
  • Professional certifications in Health and Safety, Working at Height and/or BS7909 standards
  • Good written and oral communication skills
