The Artist’s Table is a new initiative that brings together a group of artists living and making work in the North West of England to help identify and explore the skills artists need to develop now and in the future, and to shape how ENO responds through its approach to new work and skills development in the region.
Today ENO reveals the artists who will form The Artist’s Table 2026-2028. They are AFRODEUTSCHE, Anna Appleby, Balraj Samrai, Jennifer Jackson, Jonathan Ainscough, Kerry Andrew, Laura Bowler, Michael Betteridge, Richard Kudekha-Lark and Space Afrika.
Members have been selected to reflect a range of voices, disciplines and career stages within the Greater Manchester arts ecology and will share ideas, reflect on lived experience, and consider where skills gaps, barriers, and opportunities exist across the North West’s creative ecology. The Artist Table will play a key role in helping ENO ensure its work is ambitious, inclusive, and meaningfully rooted in the realities of artists’ working lives.
