Anthony Ward has worked extensively in London’s West End and Broadway garnering Olivier, Tony and an OBIE awards, together with many nominations.

Career Highlights

His many credits for the National Theatre, RSC, Royal Court and Almedia include: Exit the King, Sweet Bird of Youth, John Gabriel Borkman, The Way of the World, Assassins, Nine, Enron, Rhinoceros, Last Days of Judas Iscariot. He has worked in the most prominent opera houses across the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, New York, ROH, Paris Opéra and the ENO, as well as dance credits with the Royal Ballet and Sadler’s Wells.

Notable engagements elsewhere: The Drifters Girl (Garrick Theatre); Height of the Storm (Wyndhams); Imperium (Gielgud); Gypsy (Savoy); Sweeney Todd (Adelphi); Private Lives (Gielgud); Josephine and I (Bush); Posh (Duke of York’s); Mary Stuart (Apollo Theatre London, and Broadway); Oliver!
