Dianne McIntyre is an American choreographer whose work has been in the West End, on Broadway and in over thirty US theatres including NY Public Theatre, Negro Ensemble Company, La Jolla Playhouse, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Arena Stage, Goodman Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, New Federal Theatre, Cleveland Play House, Goodman Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, McCarter and Long Wharf Theatres.

Dianne also directs devised dance-theatre. McIntyre’s Sounds in Motion company has performed at the Kennedy Center, BAM, Lincoln Center, Joyce Theater, various US cities, UK, Austria, Italy, France and a recent commission, Change, by Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Awards: 2016 Doris Duke Artist Award; Guggenheim Award; Emmy Nomination; Helen Hayes Award; three Bessies (NY Dance/Performance); numerous grants.
