Fiona Canfield

Soprano

Fiona Canfield read music at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and studied singing at the Royal Academy of Music, the Britten–Pears School and the Geneva Conservatoire.

Subsequently she joined the ENO Chorus and has sung numerous roles including Barena Jenůfa, Peep-Bo The Mikado, Ceprano’s wife Rigoletto, Milliner Der Rosenkavalier and Claire de Lune On the Town.

Roles elsewhere include Rosalinde Die Fledermaus, Nedda I Pagliacci, Amelia Un ballo in maschera, Elettra Idomeneo, Countess Figaro, Judith Duke Bluebeard’s Castle and the title role Madama Butterfly.
