A former winner of the John Christie Award, Fiona Kimm has appeared with companies including the Royal Opera and Ballet, London, English National Opera, English Touring Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Garsington Opera at Wormsley, The Grange Festival, Longborough Festival Opera, Music Theatre Wales, Opera Holland Park, Opera North, Scottish Opera, the Canadian Opera Company, Oper Frankfurt, the Nederlandse Reisopera, Opera Zuid, the Teatro Sao Carlo, Lisbon, and the Åbo Svenska Teater.

Singing under conductors including Claudio Abbado, Edward Downes, Bernard Haitink, John Pritchard, Simon Rattle, and Gennady Rozdhestvensky, she has appeared in concert throughout the UK and Europe, as well as in North America.

Recently released recordings including Mrs Caution in Arnold’s The Dancing Master, which won the 2021 BBC Music Magazine Opera Award, for Resonus Classics and Lady Vernon in Sullivan’s Haddon Hall for Dutton Epoch.

Recent engagements have included Contessa di Coigny / Madelon Andrea Chénier for Chelsea Opera Group, Mère Jeanne Dialogues des Carmélites for Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Madame Armfeldt A Little Night Music for Opera North and Mother Goose The Rake’s Progress for Glyndebourne On Tour.
