Heather Jackson

Actor

Heather was born in Falkirk, Scotland. She studied Drama at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and voice with Jeanette Mackay. She has enjoyed a varied career and was delighted to play the role of Madame Giry in the West End production of ‘The Phantom of The Opera’ for a total of nine years, leaving the show in 2009.

Other theatre credits include: Andy in ‘Stepping Out’ (Perth Rep), Principal Soloist in ‘Broadway Dusseldorf’ created by Arlene Phillips (Capitol Theater, Dusseldorf), ‘My Fair Lady’ (directed by Simon Callow, National Tour), ‘Pirates of Penzance’ (National Tour), Principal Soloist in ‘The West End Revue’ (Talk of London), Prince Charming in ‘Cinderella’ (Borderline Theatre Company), Princess in ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ (MacRobert Arts Centre), Fiona McScratchit in ‘Mr McScrooge’ (Glasgow Pavilion), Jesse and Virginia in ‘Beckett’s Last Act’ (Tour)

Heather spent five happy years in The Stadium Theatre Company working onboard the P&O cruise ships Canberra, Oriana and Victoria, performing roles as diverse as Ado Annie in ‘Oklahoma’, Madame Dubonet in ‘The Boyfriend’, Vi Petty in ‘Buddy’ and Eliza in ‘My Fair Lady’. She also headlined in her own solo classical concerts.

On TV Heather played Catherine Galbraith in ‘Take The High Road’ and was the face of ‘Woman’ and Woman’s Own’ magazines in a major advertising campaign. She was a guest artist on ‘The Judy Spiers Show’ on Radio 2. Film credits include: ‘Tooth Fairy 2’ and ‘Candy Witch’.
