John Findon

Tenor

John Findon studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Opera Course, where he was supported by Help Musicians UK and the Worshipful Company of Musicians. He is a ENO Harewood Artist.

Career Highlights

Previous operatic engagements include: Melot Tristan und Isolde, Borsa Rigoletto (Glyndebourne Touring Opera); Florestan (cover) Fidelio, Gamekeeper/Prince (cover) Rusalka (Garsington); Vaudemont Iolanta (Les Azuriales Opera); Second Jew Salome (Opera North); Monostatos The Magic Flute (Opera North). In the 2017 Season he was a Jerwood Young Artist at Glyndebourne, performing the roles of Player 2 Hamlet, Officer Ariadne auf Naxos and Giuseppe (cover) La traviata, and in the 2018 Season at Glyndebourne he performed Faninal’s Major-Domo Der Rosenkavalier.
