Forthcoming and most recent engagements of English tenor Julian Hubbard include: Panait The Greek Passion (Salzburger Festspiele); Skuratov From the House of the Dead (Opera di Roma); Baltasar Mateus in Azio Corghi’s Blimunda (Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos Lisbon); and title role Parsifal (La Monnaie and in concert with Danish National Symphony Orchestra).

Notable past appearances include: Parsifal (Teatro Massimo Palermo); his debut as Siegmund Die Walküre (Stadttheater Klagenfurt); Quint The Turn of the Screw (La Monnaie). He sang Tichon Katya Kabanova and Cassius in world premiere of Battistelli’s Julius Caesar (Opera di Roma); Hoffmann The Tales of Hoffmann, Pinkerton Madama Butterfly (Irish National Opera, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe); Priest Il prigioniero (La Monnaie, Oper Stuttgart);Huntsman/Prince Rusalka (La Monnaie, Scottish Opera); Tamino Die Zauberflöte (Longborough Festival Opera); Don José Carmen (Lyric Opera Dublin).

Concerts have included Edinburgh and Aldeburgh Festivals, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Wigmore Hall, BBC Radio 3 and Fondazione Toscanini Parma. He trained at the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio, London.
