Awards and achievements: Two-time winner of the prestigious Knight of Illumination Award for Dance for Chroma (2008) and for Woolf Works (2015); winner of the 2013 TMA Achievement award in Opera for Lohengrin; and the 2004 Olivier Dance Award for 2 Human.
Opera credits include: Elektra (Gothenburg Opera); Lohengrin (Greek National Opera, Polish National Opera, WNO); La finta giardiniera (Glyndebourne); Peter Grimes on Aldeburgh beach (Aldeburgh Festival); The Dream of Gerontius (ENO at RFH).
Dance credits include: Afterite, Yugen, Multiverse, Autobiography with long-term collaborator Wayne McGregor; Threshold (Le Patin Libre); Infra (Australian Ballet); The Most Incredible Thing (Charlotte Ballet).
Theatre credits include: The Almighty Sometimes, Persuasion (Royal Exchange); Home I’m Darling, Husbands and Sons, Medea, Emil and the Detectives (RNT); Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (Apollo); Oil (Almeida).
Other credits include: lighting design for Gareth Pugh’s Women’s Collection in London Fashion Week 2017 and Paloma Faith’s performance at the Brit Awards 2015.
