Nmon Ford opened the 2018/19 Season with performances of Bernstein’s Songfest (BBCSSO in Glasgow and Edinburgh). This is his ENO and role debut as Crown.

Previous engagements include: Don Pizzaro Fidelio alongside Christine Goerke (Cincinnati Opera); Jokanaan Salome (Pittsburgh Opera) with Patricia Racette in the title role; Haydn’s The Creation (Atlanta Symphony); Mendelssohn’s Elijah (Pomona College, Claremont). He enjoys a busy recording career spanning broad musical tastes. In addition to his Grammy-winning Naxos (‘Songs of Innocence and Experience’) and Telarc (‘Transmigrations’) releases, he has recorded for Universal Music Group/Decca (‘Songs of Delight’) and Koch International (‘Amerindia’). With Atlanta Symphony conducted by Robert Spano, he recorded Jennifer Higdon’s Dooryard Bloom, which was written for him, and Vaughan Williams’s Serenade to Music (Telarc).
