Rosie Lomas was born in the North of England. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Kate Paterson.

Flora The Turn of the Screw (Festival di Spoleto, Beethoven Festival, Warsaw and Opera Holland Park); First Witch/Second Woman Dido and Aeneas (Ad Parnassum, both in London and on tour in Italy and Germany. Recent concert appearances include excerpts from Handel’s Solomon with countertenor James Bowman in a celebratory concert in aid of Coram, and Haydn’s ‘Nelson’ Mass with the Choir of the Twenty-first Century at Christ Church, Spitalfields.
In 2015 she was a Britten–Pears Young Artist. She also runs Literary Music, a group of actors and musicians who perform literary-themed concerts throughout the UK.
