Community Membership Scheme

At the English National Opera, we are passionate about making opera accessible to all. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy our productions and creative activities.

Our Community Membership Scheme is open to all community groups who support people from a range of groups that would normally face barriers to attending opera or the creative arts. We are particularly committed to opening our doors to local charities and organisations who support individuals and groups in and around Westminster.

Our community member groups will have access to exclusive benefits such as:

• Free tickets to ENO performances
• Free tickets to pre-show talks
• Backstage tours of the Coliseum
• Creative workshops
• Free Dress Rehearsal tickets

Community Partnerships

Our Community Partnerships aim to develop in depth and bespoke work with community organisations who are keen to develop a creative and community collaboration with ENO for a minimum of one year.

Community Partner Organisations integrate this partnership within their aims and objectives, and take part in regular meetings to shape the partnership. Together, we co-design a partnership project that responds to the needs of the group, opening up new possibilities for opera in people’s lives and re-inventing it as a tool for social change.

These Community Partnership Organisations are given the opportunity to welcome pop-up performances and bespoke workshops in their venues – alongside access to free tickets, dress rehearsals and pre-show talks.
