Youth Programme

Our youth programme nurtures skills and creative expression in young people aged 13-18 who are interested in music, drama, writing, and design/making and want to develop their skills outside of school.

It provides a platform for young people to express their ideas, develop their critical thinking and creative voice, and connect with professionals working in the industry.

Sign up to our Mailing List to keep up to date with any upcoming opportunities to get involved.

We run creative projects in the school holidays, bringing young people together from across Greater London and the South East to collaborate with one another and with professional artists to create new work inspired by the operas on the ENO stage.

Our Unplugged series of after school events are designed to open windows onto ENO productions and roles within the creative industries, offering the chance for young people to glimpse behind the scenes, watch stage rehearsals and meet members of the company across artistic and technical departments.

The ENO Youth Company is a programme for a selected group of young people aged 14-18 who are already engaged in our youth programme and that demonstrate artistic potential and a commitment to developing their skills and creative voice.

Young people involved in our youth programme have priority access to work experience opportunities across the company, and special invitations to experience ENO productions.

We give priority to young people at our Opera Squad secondary schools and other collaborating organisations as part of our commitment to supporting those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access the arts.
