Our Opera Unwrapped panel sees us joined by members of the cast, company, artistic and creative team.

Hailed as “Brooklyn’s post-millennial Mozart” (Time Out), American composer Missy Mazzoli explores faith and sacrifice in her adaptation of Lars von Trier’s Breaking the Waves. Lauren Snouffer will make her ENO debut in the principal role, and Joana Cairneiro returns to conduct, following successes with Mary, Queen of Scots (2025) and The Handmaid’s Tale (2022 & 2024).

This event is an opportunity to hear from cast and creatives of this hypnotic new production, from the rehearsal process to their own creative backgrounds, opening with a live performance from one of the principal artists.
