Arkady Zastyrets (1959–2019) was a contemporary Russian playwright, poet, translator, and librettist known for his contributions to modern Russian theatre and opera.

He is particularly noted for his work in adapting classic literature into Russian librettos for opera, as well as his involvement in Shakespearean adaptations.

He wrote the Russian libretto for the one-act opera, Shponka and His Aunt, composed by Anastasiya Bespalova, and the libretto for a production of Hamlet staged at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre, with music by Vladimir Kobekin.
