I am a Barrister-at-Law and worked as an academic lawyer. I have also been a newspaper columnist for Jamaica Times UK, where I shared my musings and observations on modern life and the big issues of the day. My columns were published in book form in 2019 under the title Let Me Tell You Something, which went on to be a finalist in two International Independent Book Awards (2020 and 2021). In 2023, I was shortlisted for the inaugural Curae literary prize for my non-fiction story extract, which was published in The Curae anthology of the same year. My newish-found love of opera led me to several performances at ENO and this experience persuaded me to become not just a patron but a participant in what the ENO can do for community outreach.
